Dear Mom,
How can so many years of motherhood be summed up in a day? It really can’t. The amount of things you have sacrificed to make sure the life we had as children was all it could be with the little we had. That takes selflessness. I don’t know any other title that can even come close to that of a Mother. The way you always know what is wrong, without me even telling you, the way I can come to you for anything and everything because you are for me 100% without any judgement or agenda. I know I can speak to you and still feel the comfort of a kind ear, and the warmth of a loving heart. Maybe more people should be like Mothers. The nurturing nature, the value of your wisdom, and the importance of making sure that person special in your heart knows that everyday of the week, month, and year. This letter is to my mother, and if you are a mother, daughter, son, grandchild, or grandparent reading this, this letter is intended for you as well. Without out mothers, there would be no you or me. Mom I hope you know the true significance of your existence in this world. The Bible says honor thy mother and father, and a day in a year doesn’t make it any more, or less momentous. To not have that loving as child for those who are orphaned, separated from there parents, or are just on bad terms with their mother, I pray that you find the love through another vessel. If its had and taken for granted, I pray that you see the error of your actions, and realize what you have before it is gone.

So in time I've come to realize that when a male and a female don't establish from the get go the

premise of the relationship beforehand, it can get complicated, and confusing.

If for instance in the case of a female, when she has no relative interest in the male as far as just

being friends, yet it wasn't interpreted by the male that way, then it can come off as the first stages of a romantic relationship. The male can take it out of context and see it for something its not.

But whose to blame?

Nobody, or both sides?

The signs male and females send can be as clear as day for the individual relaying them, but candlelit to the person reciving. I'm talking about the labels we don't give relationships in the beginning.

In my experience it has occured more often than not, that what really isn't there, can be confused for just that, because acts of kindness, genuine interest, and fondness are misinterpreted for more than what they are

I guess unless you have grown up with that person, thats incomprehendable.

I had to take a step back and see for myself that I was at fault for not being tactful in the beginning stages of getting to know someone, and having that person thinking otherwise.

And its a sad feeling when the one who is let down is someone you care about.

But again, whose to blame? Nobody really. You can't say it isn't a sticky situation when that person vebalizes his/her interest for you, and you don't share the same feelings. It hurts, and if you say it doesn't, "you lying :\"

Especially when you have the understanding that "we're just friends"and interpreting actions to be understood as mutual feelings, then the bomb gets dropped.

When trying to establish a bond for years to come, that support system that so many of us are missing, friendships can become jeopardized if both parties aren't on the same page.

No one enjoys rejection, and its even worse when the rejector was unaware of the feelings the rejectee had, on top of that person being someone special.

When every things said and done, do those feelings ever go away, or are they laying in wait ?

The friendship that emerges out of mutual understanding, and growing to care for each other do those feelings take shape once more within the person?

Platonic male and female relationships are never really free from physical desire, because human nature will one day have you thinking about what that person looks like naked, or what it would be like to be with them.

Even if only for a fleeting second, these thoughts aren't wrong, its just natural.

It seems like as I'm getting older ,and becoming a woman, the relationship vernacular between friends and I will have to change, and affection and admiration will either be seen as 'one love' or 'hot sex on a platter'

If there aren't any boundaries, and for lack of a better word, 'labels' to established roles in friendships, can things that go unsaid cause damage that cannot be undone?

Communication is key, and I have to get Bilingual in my case. Both verbal and physical.

Actions speak louder than words, but words get to the point.

1. My iMac's hard drive said "F**K YOU B***HES" :\ not working and it hurts my heart.

2. I lost my iPod Touch recently, lets say Sunday and got a call Monday from the apple store saying my laptop is fixed. Ha

3. I got an 85% in my math midterm, have a speech due the 2nd, and bought the book today ;)

4. My English paper is due tomorrow and I'm uploading Busta Rhymes "E.L.E" and blogging instead.

5. I can't find my laptop charger and i have more or less 70% battery life left as of now.

Oh Gosh. makes you really wonder, why fuck go to college in the first place? I can learn this shit myself. College is just for a piece of paper saying you certified.

I mean I was feigning, I mean feigning to get into college and look what happens! I'm in this bitch and want to dip because I feel like what I'm learning is bullshit. Honestly classes like "Speech and English" Basic shit I can learn for myself.

Did you ever have a feeling of great things occuring?

My weekend was truly eventful and it was filled with incidents that, in my opinion, are only good omens.

Friday night hanging around chillin' ended up heading to 14th street Union Square

Down there on a Saturday, an accumulation of people are out: BMXer's, Skateboarders, Pot-Heads, [LOL :-)] and Rappers.

There was a cypha going down with a lot of people hailing from East side New York.

There were good MC's, older MC's, and some who looked like they were just starting out.

Getting ready to leave, and stumble upon Wordspit.

So I went up to him and introduced myself and had a long talk with the guy.

Real calm, cool, and relaxed, he knew a lot about himself, what he wanted, why he was doing it and what it meant to him. Talking with him was really insprating and it gave me a new engine to lump into my drive, the old one was working, but the conversation had me on NITROS that night.

I was so pumped because the way he thought about life and things in general, mirrored mine but on another level of knowledge. I think he is gonna be a big splash in the industry, as well.

I felt kind of dumb though, I was nervous couldn't spit at all. SMH After the conversation though he brought out a side of me that only when I'm comfortable is seen. I spit him the song I was working on, and I believe dude was impressed!

Anyway I just wanted to highlight that last night was an all nighter. I was in high overdrive because of Word, and learned what kind of work goes into this Hip Hop game. I heard stories of what kind of hussle it took to even put a song up. A rusty mic and a stereo.

I'm priviledged I even have people with studios, who will let me come and work. Appreciate the little things in life.

As of recently I started watching Kid 'n Play House Party Trilogy.

I can't even front, I don't know what came over me to posses

me to watch it, but I did. (in parts on youtube.com) Damn if that movie wasn't all that and a bag a chips!!! with the dip suckaaa!

I watched all of them 1 through 4, now I must warn you. If you had to watch House PArty...its best you stick to 1 and 3 because 2, was kind of a waste of time and 4! OMG let's not even go there. SMH

House Party (1990): Full Force, Martin Lawrence, Tisha Campbell, A.J. Johnson (homegirl in the red jacket) all were involved in the first House Party. This movie right chyea made me want to throw a House Party (unlucky for me, mom was ALWAYS home :\) This was the essence of the 90's. John "Pops" Witherspoon was in here as w

ell as George Clinton (Atomic Dog) . Whats crazy is House PArty was original written for DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince.

House Party 2 (1991): Most everyone from the first film minus Sydney's homegirl. Kid's father in the film Robin HArris in real life had died of a he

art attack so this film was dedicated to him. It was a shit film in my opinion so I dedicate the first film to the dude. Queen Latifah was in this motion picture and the basic jist is Kid and Play throw a House Party in the dinning hall of Kid's college campus and its a Pajama Party.

House Party 3 (1994): Kid 'n Play are grown men now and handling the music industry. Business managers trying to sign a female rap trio Sex as a Weapon. This film is my second favorite from House Party 1. It includes TLC

, Immature, Bernie Mac, and many other cameos. Alot of now big time celebrities got thier first real roles or cameos in House Party 3. This was Bernie Mac's first supporting role as a main character. [R.I.P.] the man was funny beyond natural. Chris Tucker's first role in a film, Eddie Griffin, Joe Tory [Guy Tory's brother],Kelita Smith [the wife on the Bernie Mac show], and Yvette Wilson,[of the Parkers]. Now that I'm writing about all these characters. I think I'm starting to feel a little more love towards 3 than 1.

I watched all of these movies from my iPod Touch in my moms room. She was hogging the computer and what can you do on a friday night when all your plans fell through but to watch some House Party.

So I recently saw the videos for Mya's new song and Day 26's new single.

I started watching "Show me Something" ft. Bun B and I turned it off after the first verse.

In my opinion, homegirl made a bad move.

She hasn;t been out in a minute and you'd expect "First Lady" to come with something harder like she usually does. She got so much talent and watching that video made me so sad. I feel for her like she got all this talent, and whatever that shit was that I was watching she was wasting her gift.

It's too country, trill and shit and not enough of her coming through.

I feel like she copped a plea with this one.

Now Day26, I was into the video and song.

Up until that dirty looking gremlin with the stink mouth came and screwed it up.

You have to know yourself as a person.
You have to understand what are the ugly things about you that you don't want others to know or see, and embrace that.
Make it apart of you and not dismiss it as if it doesn't ecist because that leads to guilt and hatred.
For example, people who may be gay or bi- and do not agree with this sensation they're having. Will lash out or defend; based on how they are at a openly gay person or people.

If you dont embrace you for you fully, then it will be a facade you wear.

I brought this up because LAST NITE had to be the craziest experience I've ever had.
Another thing. I think I'm meant to smoke weed.
Not even on some crackhead shit where "I NEED it man!", but more or less smoke it to open my eyes even more to the shit that goes on around me.
I feel that if I was sober that night. I wouldn't have been able to see all the details of what was going on with my sister and my close friend. Not had been able to see how it could've been fatal.

AN AMERICAN HEROE

This is a MUST SEE movie.

When I first saw the trailer I was really into it it looked like a whole lot of action. The downside of alot of action usually means really bad acting.

At first I was skeptical to go see. In each trailer there was new moves and effects so I was thinking that like most movies do to gain more revenue and attract audiences. Show all the good parts in the trailer and leave you wondering watching the movie.. so where's the rest?

When I say I was watching it and at one point I didn't know if it was a video game or an actual movie I was serious.

The effects were non-stop.

It was just mind blowing. Only set-back was the acting.

Boy it was corny alot of close-ups and dramatical catch phrases.

If you watch G.I. Joe closely you can see why it says the real american heroe.

So many messages like "Fear is a great motivator"

or "Knowing is half the battle"

The plot of the movie was really great too. The twist and turns and the idea of an organism neither environmental or genetic a man made organism that eats metal and can devour a whole city.

I've never watched the cartoon G.I.Joe, so after watching the movie it made me want to go and search it on the internet.

The way they redid it so it could be more update. They gave them these suits to act as a mean lean killing machine!!

Great it ranks up there with Transformers for its effects

Overall I'd give it a 31/2 stars out of 5. and its just cause of the acting that killed it.

So last week sunday i believe i had gotten a tattoo.
It was a family affair. Me, my sister, n my mom had all gotten a tattoo done,. N on the left side too.. What a coincidence.!!

I had gotten a lightning bolt behind my ear. (which even though was just an outline, hurt like shit!!)
Mom got a symbol which meant grounded in ths middle of a weed leaf lol.( very spur of the moment)
And Shanna at the last minute got mom's name tattooed on her wrist.

We had gone to Concrete Jungle on 125th. It was a whole lot of African braiding shops and the whole decor of the parlor itself was lame!!

Not for nothing. She is a "dazzling" woman and I like her style.

But.. for some reason I cannot listen to her. Its not like her voice is shit or anything.
